A passionate trainer, award-winning speaker, entrepreneur, and proud father of two boys, Mr. Iwan has dedicated over a decade to coaching individuals, from students to executives and even billionaires, in speaking, presenting, selling, and leading effectively.
Through his own journey of overcoming setbacks and pursuing big dreams, Mr. Iwan understands the real-world importance of character development, resilience, and communication skills, far beyond what is taught in textbooks.

The Journey: From Entrepreneur to Educator

Iwan’s journey to becoming a leading trainer was not a typical academic path.
After graduating from Singapore Management University (SMU), he chose to carve his own way, driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and a deep desire to make a difference.
In his 20s, Iwan founded Lokopoko Travel, which grew into a thriving business with brands like BatamGetaway.com and BintanGetaway.com, serving Singapore residents travelling to the Indonesian islands.
Building on his business success, Iwan later co-founded a digital marketing consultancy, helping SMEs grow their presence online. While this venture sharpened his communication and strategic thinking skills, it also set the stage for what would become his true calling.
Mr. Iwan found his true passion after a chance encounter with a Toastmasters club. It was there he discovered the transformative power of public speaking. After winning numerous speech competitions, he realized that inspiring and empowering others through communication was what truly fulfilled him.
Motivated to make a greater impact, Iwan later established Learn Indonesian Hub, where he developed a proprietary curriculum to help learners master the Indonesian language from scratch.
Taking his passion for communication even further, he founded Speak Sell Succeed™, a Skillsfuture approved training provider focused on public speaking, presentation, sales, and soft skills training for adults.
Through Speak Sell Succeed™, he has coached hundreds of executives, professionals, leaders helping them speak, sell, and succeed with confidence.
Throughout his journey, Iwan faced numerous setbacks and obstacles, challenges that tested his perseverance, adaptability, and grit.
Having experienced these hardships firsthand, he deeply understands that true success isn’t just built on talent or intelligence, but also on resilience, character, and the ability to rise after every fall.
